The game is inspired by the classic 1979 Atari arcade title of the same name and is our contribution to the MSXdev’25 contest.
Samples and sound effects are mixed in realtime (this game at 7khz) on a 3.57mhz z80 cpu. The default sound chip in the MSX system is the AY-3-8910. Its a 3-voice programmable sound generator (PSG) designed by General Instrument in 1978.
